Siouxnami Water Park
Siouxnami Water Park is by far the best water park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is huge and has both an indoor and outdoor water park and on-site dining options.
We love the indoor and outdoor water slides, outdoor aqua zip line, lazy river, a 16-foot climbing wall, and more. There is a zero-entry pool for the littlest kiddos, swim lanes for serious swimmers, diving boards, etc..
The indoor waterpark has two large waterslides, floating lily pads, an aqua playground, lap pool and hot tub. It is perfect for those cold and dark winter days.
Midco® Aquatic Center
Midco Aquatic Center is owned and managed by the City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is a huge complex with everything you would expect from a top-notch water park. It has both indoor and outdoor options, althought we will point out that the outdoor waterpark is much larger.
It has water slides, kiddie pool, warm water pool, lily pads, current channel (lazy river), 50 meter lap pool, outdoor splash pad, sun deck, and more.
Watiki Water Park
Watiki Water Park is not in Sioux Falls, but further down the road in Rapid City. It is part of a group of hotels including Residence Inn Marriott.
It is a huge water park with tons of water slides, kiddie pools, hot tubs, and more. If you are ever in the Black Hills region of South Dakota, then check out Watiki Water Park. Rapid City is located 5 hours west of Sioux Falls.
Best Indoor Water Parks Near Sioux Falls – Hotels
If you are like us, and our kids, then if a hotel doesn’t have a pool, then it isn’t an option! The hotels below are not luxury resorts, but they all at least have an indoor pool, and many have a more expansive water park. They are all inexpensive and perfect for families with young children.
Sioux Falls Ramada by Wyndham – Buccaneer Bay Indoor Water Park
We are big fans of Wyndham hotels, and especially their generous loyalty program. It is super easy to gain status and utilize that status at hotels like this Ramada Inn in Sioux Falls. We recommend getting one of their credit cards to really rack up the points.
The Ramada by Windham is home to Buccaneer Bay Water Park, which has a 160-foot, two-story water slide with basketball and volleyball pool, two jacuzzis, a poolside Tiki Bar and Boss Pizzeria. It also has an excellent kids pool with Jolly Roger Pirate Ship. It is fun for the whole family!
Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel of Sioux Falls
The Remkota Best Western Plus has two pools! The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
The indoor pool is open year-round and has a huge kiddie pool, jacuzzi, tube slide, fitness center, and more. There is also a poolside video arcade that is a blast. This is one of the best water parks near Sioux Falls if you have young children and want your hotel to be connected.
Dakotah Lodge
The Dakotah Lodge waterpark hotel has one of the best indoor water parks in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The waterpark has a water slide, kid play area, large pool, hot tub, and more.
It is a smaller, not frills hotel, just like the Ramada by Wyndham and Best Western above, but it is still fun.
AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark
As we mentioned above, we love Wyndham hotels, and really love AmericInn branded hotels. They are ever present in our home state of MN and are a budget friendly option for families with young children.
The AmericInn by WIndham Sioux Falls North does not have a full water park, but it does have a nice pool and a hot tub. It’s better than nothing! It is located by Sioux Falls Regional Airport.
AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls
The AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls is slightly better than its northern counterpart. It does not have a water park, but does have a slightly larger and nicer pool.
Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Center
The Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Center is the same as the AmericInns above. The pool area is not a water park, but it gets the job done. It is located right in downtown Sioux Falls, which is an added bonus!
Not-So-Indoor Water Parks in Sioux Falls
It is hard to write a post about water parks in Sioux Falls and not at least mention some of the great outdoor options in the area.
