Siouxnami Water Park is by far the best water park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is huge and has both an indoor and outdoor water park and on-site dining options.
It has both indoor and outdoor water slides, an outdoor aqua zip line, a lazy river, a 16-foot climbing wall, and more. There is a zero-entry pool for the littlest kiddos, swim lanes for serious swimmers, diving boards, and more.
The indoor waterpark has two waterslides, floating lily pads, an aqua playground, lap pool and hot tub.
Wild Water West Waterpark
Wild Water West is a campground with a super fun outdoor water park. It was vote Sioux Falls’ #1 fun spot by The Local Best and is the largest waterpark in Sioux Falls, SD.
It has by far the most water slides of any water park on this list. Tornado Alley is a local favorite, which is a unique tube slide with a whirlpool section. There is a swim-up bar, wave pool, lazy river, waterfalls, activity pool, bumper boats, kiddie pool, go karts, mini golf, and more.
It is a must-visit spot if you live in the area or are visiting in the summer.
Midco® Aquatic Center
Midco Aquatic Center is owned and managed by the City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is a huge complex with everything you would expect from a top-notch water park.
It has water slides, kiddie pool, warm water pool, lily pads, current channel (lazy river), 50 meter lap pool, outdoor splash pad, sun deck, and more. It is amazing!
Great Plains Zoo
While it may come as a shock, the Great Plains Zoo also has an awesome splash pad that made our list! While not technically a water park, the splash areas are fun for kids and comes free with admission to the zoo!
Watiki Water Park
Watiki Water Park is not in Sioux Falls, but further down the road in Rapid City. It is part of a group of hotels including Residence Inn Marriott.

The Ramada by Windham is home to Buccaneer Bay Water Park, which has a 160-foot, two-story water slide with basketball and volleyball pool, two jacuzzis, a poolside Tiki Bar and Boss Pizzeria. It also has an excellent kids pool with Jolly Roger Pirate Ship. It is fun for the whole family!
Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel of Sioux Falls
The Remkota Best Western Plus has two pools! The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
The indoor pool is open year-round and has a huge kiddie pool, jacuzzi, waterslide, fitness center, and more. There is also a poolside video arcade that is a blast. This is one of the best water parks in Sioux Falls if you have young children.
Dakotah Lodge
The Dakotah Lodge has one of the best indoor water parks in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The waterpark has a water slide, kid play area, large pool, hot tub, and more.
It is a smaller, not frills hotel, just like the Ramada by Wyndham and Best Western above.
AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark
As we mentioned above, we love Wyndham hotels, and really love AmericInn branded hotels. They are ever present in our home state of MN and are a budget friendly option for families with young children.
The AmericInn by WIndham Sioux Falls North does not have a full water park, but it does have a nice pool and a hot tub. It’s better than nothing! It is located by Sioux Falls Regional Airport
AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls
The AmericInn by Wyndham Sioux Falls is slightly better than its northern counterpart. It does not have a water park, but does have a slightly larger and nicer pool.
Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Center
The Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Center is the same as the AmericInns above. The pool area is not a water park, but it gets the job done. It is located right in downtown Sioux Falls, which is an added bonus!
